Here is a gorgeous piece of curio! Hand-carved from Ironwood, a snail gently rests at the base of an elegant, wide leaf, which gracefully curves over at the end. This piece is made in the netsuke style, and has a hole for stringing, and hanging, from just below the stem of the leaf in back. It could be used as a pendant, an elegant accessory to a hand bag, or simply as an art object. The piece measures approximately 1.75" W x 4.25" L.
