JW206 Green Lacquer Melon Box

This is a deep hunter green lacquer box with inlaid mother of pearl. The box is in the shape of a melon or squash, and the mother of pearl pieces are carved into the shapes of butterflies and squash -all representing springtime and abundance. Dimensions are approximately 4"w x 6.75" long.
